From a Mum:

Hidden in the leafy suburb of Pinner, set back from the road nestles an unobtrusive yellow building. Among shops and flats is a 'haven' of friendship, peace, support, knowledge and enjoyment, oozing with toys, books, activities, support groups, playschemes, courses and so much more. It is otherwise known as Kids Can Achieve. Without it, the kids and I would be lost. It is somewhere they are understood and feel at home. It enables us as a family to take part in things which otherwise my children would feel uncomfortable, stressed and threatened by. With their experience, patience and genuine kindness, they enable all families to have their individual needs met. We did somehow manage before we discovered them but I cannot imagine life without Kids Can Achieve.

An experience of KCA...

I would like to thank you for your help and support with my child. It is very hard to find people with the patience and experience to look after a child with special needs. Your organisation has provide my family with the respite needed during trying times, especially half terms and summer holidays. As a parent I find the stresses of everyday life with an ADHD and ODD child very tiring and trying, but you are always at hand. Just being able to drop them off without worrying if you can handle their behaviour is such a relief.

My child enjoys coming to Kids Can Achieve both at the after school club and at the playscheme as they can relax without the need for a 1:1 support looking over their shoulder and making them feel 'different'.

You have been a godsend for us.
