What is Inclusion Service?

Inclusion Service runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm during term time. It is for children who are struggling to cope in mainstream schools, have been, or are at risk of being excluded, or can find no suitable placement to meet their needs.

We support the children in a number of ways including social skills, anger and behaviour management, concentration and particular areas of school work that they are struggling with in order to reintegrate them successfully back into mainstream school or to a more suitable education placement. Work can be 1:1 or in small groups. Placements can be on a full or part time basis.

Who is it for?

For your child to be able to attend Inclusion Service, they must meet at least one of the requirements below:

How can my child access this service?

Referrals can be via a school, the local authority education department, a child’s parent or carer, or social care. For further details on how to access Inclusion Service, please contact Helen (Inclusion Service Manager) on 020 8868 5629 or by email to helen@kidscanachieve.co.uk.

An update from the Inclusion Service Manager

Inclusion Service has seen a busy start to the academic year. We have had several new children attending the service, including two young people taking part in the new Student Support and Learning Project. We also have a new apprentice, Abi Browne, who with our existing apprentices has been doing a great job of getting to know the children and planning activities for them.

This half term the children have been preparing for bonfire night and are looking forward to Christmas. They have also been doing lots of cooking (always a very popular activity!) and going on outings in the local area.
